Top 10 tv shows with gay characters
I'm watching all of these immediately. The representation is so natural in this comedy. I can't recommend this show enough. I'll forever be heartbroken we won't get a third season. You are sleeping on this, I swear.
TV Shows with LGBTQ+ Characters and Leads
Do you want complex, dark, intense gothic romance? This is a complex, dark, intense gothic romance. Do you want horny? This is fucking horny as shit. So cute, such good feels. It also touches on mental health issues and de-stigmatizing asking for help, which I really appreciated seeing.
The main character boy borrows his girl crush's eraser and sees it has his boy classmate's name on it. He drops the eraser and the classmate picks it up and sees. To save his crush from being embarrassed the main character says the eraser is his and that he has a crush on the classmate.
Instead of making fun of him for liking a boy, or being grossed out, the classmate decides to take his confession seriously. It's a really funny and sweet show, and I wish my high school experience questioning my sexuality was that wholesome. It features multiple queer couples and is one of the best queer positive shows I've seen, as well as my favorite show of all time.
It also features one of the loveliest platonic friendships between a gay man and his straight roommate, who are so supportive of each other despite being worlds apart in terms of personality. It's just been renewed for a third season, which is fantastic. I'd really recommend it to anyone who hasn't had the pleasure yet.
Funny, memorable, but fucking heartbreaking at the same time. Also, don't do what I did and watch it with your ex's mum in the room. The show started with one bisexual woman and a bunch of straight people. On top of that, it was just so much FUN, and big-hearted. This was a goofy family who had the best time and got up to the silliest stuff.
It's definitely my Top 10 shows of all time! This is the best-written show I've seen since The Wire let's not get started on Omar We deserved more than two seasons and the wrap-up film. Well filmed, great directing and acting, and an amazing cast. BuzzFeed Trending Hot Topic.
